  • Hypocrite, indeed. Rescinding Bush tax cuts for the "rich" = tax increase, but Rescinding payroll taxes for the "others" does not = tax increase? Norquist logic. Gotta love that he's blackmailed the GOP and holds sway over the economy via his pieces of paper with signatures on them.

  • The proposed pipeline was routed through the Ogallala Aquifer. It's not so much the sandhills, but the water underneath it. The oil companies can afford to go around/east of it. Make a mistake with the water supply for multiple states... and you have an ongoing problem.
